Troop Upgrades instead of Training

In this article I would like to show you a little trick to quadruple the points for the alliance duel on fridays.

The trick is to not just use the barracks for training but to train troops at the lowest level and then promote them step by step until they reach the maximum available level.

Since promotions count just as much as newly trained troops for the alliance duel, but promotions are much faster than training, you'll earn a lot more points.

What do you need to do?

The easiest way is to have your barracks at four different levels. Let's assume that based on your current level, you can train up to T8 troops. So, you need one barrack that produces T8. The next should produce T7, the third T6, and the fourth T5. This gives you the ideal setup, and you can now train in the T5 barracks, promote from T5 to T6 in the T6 barracks, from T6 to T7 in the T7 barracks, and finally from T7 to T8 in the T8 barracks.

The time and cost for T5 training and T6, T7, and T8 promotions are almost identical, meaning the only extra effort is the additional clicking in the game. But instead of just getting T8 points for training, you also get T7, T6, and T5 points as a bonus.

Have fun promoting!
