Generals Trial
In this guide I would like to introduce you to the "Generals Trial" event. This three-day event appears in the game every two weeks and challenges your heroes at different levels of difficulty. This event is divided into a personal challenge and an alliance challenge with rewards for all alliance members.
Personal Challenge

The personal challenge, also known as the Vanguard Instructors, gives you the opportunity to measure your strength against the corresponding heroes and receive some valuable rewards, and on the other hand it serves to unlock the corresponding alliance challenges, as these are only unlocked if 20 members of the alliance have completed the personal challenge. It is therefore important that everyone completes their own personal challenge.

The challenge consists of defeating 30 instructors, each with increasing combat strength. To do this, select a difficulty level and then kill one instructor after the other. This requires that the lower difficulty level has been completed.
Only one difficulty level can be completed per event. The difficulty level should be selected so that you can defeat the first 25 levels on your own. Please refer to the table in the next section to check which difficulty level is appropriate for you. If it is not possible to defeat an instructor on your own, you can also open a rally and defeat the instructor together with allies.
Note: A challenge that is too great will result in large troop losses, which will not be compensated for by receiving the higher reward.
Required Power
The following table shows the required power for each level on the 9 different difficulty levels. All numbers are in millions.

How to...
After selecting the difficulty level, a new icon with a picture of Marshall appears next to the search icon at the bottom left of the game interface. By tapping the icon you will be directed to the location of the current Vanguard Instructor and can attack him either alone or in a rally.
The instructors always appear in groups of three. At least at the lower levels, you can attack all three directly one after the other, later you will have to return to the base after each attack to get new troops and in the last quarter of the challenge you will probably start rallies as the instructors get stronger from phase to phase.
Remember to always pay attention to your troops and heal them to avoid major losses. A wrongly selected difficulty level coupled with neglecting the troops can be very expensive here.
Each attack costs you 10 stamina points, 20 points in case of a rally. Since the event extends over three days, you can use this to divide the necessary stamina accordingly. There is no need to rush here.
For using stamina, you will receive a level-appropriate reward for each instructor defeated in the form of iron , food
, gold
, experience points
and drone battle data
. In addition, there are the rewards for the event itself described in the next section.
Rewards
The rewards are always available after completing 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 challenges and increase with the level of the challenge. The table below shows the total rewards per difficulty level for all 30 challenges combined:
