Decoration
This guide is about decoration. What is decoration for, what kind of decoration is there, where do we get it from, how do we choose correctly when we have the choice, how do we expand decoration and much more. Enjoy reading.
What is decoration?
Decoration is what we call various buildings within the game. Monuments, statues or famous buildings fall into this category. Decoration is characterized by the fact that there is no interaction apart from the level of the decoration. Nothing is produced, there is no active influence. So why do we want decoration? Decoration gives us passive bonuses in the form of more HP, DEF and ATK, more damage against zombies, increased construction speed and more.
So should we put more decoration in our base? Yes please; as much as possible!
What kind of decorations are there?

Fortunately, there is a building in the game that helps us keep an overview of our decorations, the Decoration Gallery. Here we not only get information about individual decoration elements, but also a good overview of what each decoration does, how upgrades affect the effects and how many elements we still need to perform an upgrade. The gallery also shows us with a golden icon that we can upgrade a decoration element, so we don't need to pay attention to the small green upgrade arrows on the decorations themselves, but have a central point for it.

Let's take a look at the decorations themselves. They are divided into different quality levels just like everything else in the game. On the overview page of our gallery we can see directly how many of them we have, what influence they give us and how much combat power is available through our decorations.
On the index page we get further details about our decorations. Here the quality can be selected using the tab at the top, and the corresponding decoration elements are listed below. For each decoration, the current level is also displayed, as well as a progress bar to the next level.
Below there is a button for filtering the decorations, but since the page is not that full, this should not be necessary.

Tapping a decoration opens the detailed view. Here you can find detailed information about the use of a decoration at the corresponding levels reached.
Where can I get decorations?
Most of the decorations come packaged in a chest. The quality level of the chest already indicates which decorations can be contained in the chest. These come in rare , epic
and legendary
versions. We usually receive these chests as a reward for sending trade wagons and traveling on a train, but also when completing and plundering secret missions. The legendary chest
can also be purchased in the Honor Shop, costs 50,000 Honor Points and is available once a month.
Here is a list of the possible contents:

Additional decorations are included in the various paid packages. But seasonal events such as the "Sport Festival" or Decorate Your Dream are also a source of decorations.
How do I expand my decoration?
Decorations can be upgraded. This usually requires a certain number of the corresponding decorations. To obtain the decoration for the first time, you need to obtain it once. To upgrade to level 2, you need the same decoration X more times. As always, it gets more expensive as you go up.
Some decorations (see the decoration list below) can also be extended with Universal Decor Components . You can get these
- 50 pieces per week in the VIP shop for 100 diamonds each
- 150 pieces per month in the honor shop for 200 honor points each
- in the campaign store 30 pieces per week for 200 courage medals
each
- from universal decor components lucky chests
between 60 and 300 pieces
- in different payed packages
When using universal decor components, one decoration item is replaced by a number X of universal components. Just look in the Decorations Gallery to see how many components you need for each decoration.
Which decoration should I focus on?
Whenever we actually have a choice of which decoration we want to get, it makes sense to choose decorations that improve more than one attribute either at the beginning or later on. For example ATK & HP. Sometimes it also makes sense to choose an existing decoration instead of a decoration that has not yet been acquired in order to upgrade. Just take a look at this and if necessary use your alliance members to get other opinions.

The following table shows all decorations with their respective bonuses. The column titled U. indicates with an X that this decoration cannot be extended with Universal Decor Components . This list may not be complete.

Is there anything else to decorate?
Yes, there are indeed more opportunities to change the appearance of the base and also to gain passive effects. These are so-called skins for the headquarters, for example, or the drone. There will also be a guide for this at some point and as soon as it is ready, I will post the link to put it in here.
Have fun decorating
