Doom Walker

This short article is intended to give you an overview of the different Doom Walkers and help you not to waste troops unnecessarily by attacking Doom Walkers which are too strong.

What are Doom Walkers?

Doom Walkers are zombies who move around the map with companions. They move slowly and always follow a straight line. At irregular intervals they attack a base on their way and set it on fire. The fire can either be put out by yourself or with help from an ally. During the "The End is Near" event, the probability of an attack is increased. An impending attack by a Doom Walker can be averted by starting a rally on the attacking Walker and then canceling it again.

Doom Walker on the Radar

Once a day, a Doom Walker can appear on the radar missions. It should be noted that the level of the Doom Walker plays no role in completing the radar mission. Even if, for example, a level 160 Doom Walker is shown there, the radar mission is considered completed if you kill a level 100 Doom Walker.

First Blood

The first kill of the day provides an increased number of rewards. This is particularly relevant in Season 1, as this is one of the main sources of Mutant Crystals resource_s1_mutant_crystalresource_s1_mutant_crystal; these are necessary for the construction of the season-specific buildings. See also the corresponding guide.

Attack on a Doom Walker

The attack always takes place in a rally. When the rally is opened, the Doom Walker will remain in its position. If the attack is unsuccessful, the Doom Walker will target the base of the rally initiator. This attack can be canceled by initiating a rally again. Now you can either start another attack to kill the Doom Walker in the second or even third round, or cancel the rally again.

The Doomsday

"The Doomsday" is the title of an event later in the game. The aim is to kill a large number of Doom Walker and receive increased rewards for doing so. Check out the corresponding Guide.

Combat power and troops

Depending on the level of the Doom Walker, the combat strength of the Doom Walker and his 4 companions varies. When considering whether or not to attack a Doom Walker, also pay attention to the type and number of troops he is carrying. Keep these numbers in mind and make sure that your rally members are appropriately equipped to help you kill the desired Doom Walker.
